In veeleisende omstandigheden, waar nauwkeurigheid essentieel is, is het NASA Clipper Tactical Wind systeem de ideale keuze. Met 10 updates per seconde reageert deze zeer snel op veranderingen in windsnelheid en windrichting. De windsensor wordt compleet geleverd met mastmontage onderdelen, 20 meter lichtgewicht kabel en alle noodzakelijke elektrische aansluitconnectoren.
De uitgangsdata van de sensor is in NMEA0183 formaat en kan dus gebruikt worden om iedere aflezing die NMEA ondersteund van gegevens te voorzien.

Het scherm toont de schijnbare wind en schijnbare windrichting en indien aangesloten op GPS of op NMEA0183 logsnelheidsmeter kan ook de ware windrichting - en snelheid getoond worden.

A high performance instrument system that shows almost instantaneous changes of wind speed and direction.

In demanding conditions, where high performance is essential, the Clipper Tactical wind system is the ideal choice. With ten updates every second it responds very quickly to the changes in wind speed and direction, which occur during tricky manoeuvres. The sensor is supplied complete with a mast mounting kit, 20 metres of light weight cable and all necessary electrical connectors to complete the installation. The output data is in the NMEA 0183 format and can be used to drive any compatible display that utilises the MWV sentence.
